I had a great time at batam. Although it was my third time there, each time i am filled with different emotions and pleasant surprises. My day started really bad though, i OVERSLEPT!!! So miss dear michelle and peixin had to wait for me. Eventually, we took the 930am ferry. we were all geared up with caps and shades. The boat ride was smooth and we arrive an hour later. I was famished so i bought Roti bananala. I think i got it wrong.
We thought it was banana fillings, apparently not. It was jam. We met up with the rest of the tour people. My first on a tour in Batam. We went to the Kuih Lapis factory. I love the coffee there, but the nice lady boss advice against me to purchase it. She said i would just placed the beans aside because it was just too difficult as i needed a filter. I bought a small kuih lapis instead. We met Emmy thereafter the tour guide, and this nice Indonesian chinese tour guide as well as the rest of the group. They were all nice people from philippines, hongkong, US, India and of course Singapore. China too!
The next few stops were the temple, the massage, the polo shop, seafood lunch and Nagoya shopping. We exteneded i ferry till the later trip so that we could have dinner by the road side stall, AnW as well as the cheap converse shoes;)
Thank you girls for inviting me. I promise we will have more fun together.
