i am kind of slow in updates these days. just dont have the feel or the mood to do so.
anyway, the above pictures are courtesy of seah sim yee's 21 st birthday.
and of course we went wild with our ERDINGER drinking game. haha.
i read a message recently on cleo magazine that was meant for the editor.
it states... if you dont slow down enough.the people around you wont be able to catch up with you. soon you'll realise that you will be left to run the race on your own...
so true huh? we are all blinded by financial needs and wants that we neglect so many things around us. worst still, we are obssess with the best and constantly strive for more than what we need.
am i not victim of such? now that i have stopped working i have realise the morning sun that shines at 715 am and its ray the brightest at close to 8 onwards. it starts to tame when it hits 10 am and it gets humid around 3 and tames at 5 going to 6 pm.
the beauty of human nature.
i realise how food taste so nice too when its cooked at home, that you can fuse your own cuisine and sit in front of the tv and watch as people tell their story. you realise that vegetables rot after 2 weeks slower than dairy and meet produce. so i tend to stock up alot on vegetables and realise that it is too much, ironically cause i am only cooking for myself. :)
you realise soon that it is always good to cook for more than a person.
firstly, cause you wont be gorging down unnecessary calories. and secondly, it is esier to porportion it.
you will also realise garlic and mushroom sauce are your best spices and sauce.
than you realise too, that you cant stay home too long, the air is not as fresh as outside. so you take a walk round your neighbourhood and you get amazed at the kids around who are in primary school, and you think back and laugh.
when night falls. you sleep better too.:)
of course, since exams are round the corner i do try to squeeze studying here and there.
